We listen for captions from your meeting audio and mic. We only grab a screenshot when you press the capture shortcut — never a continuous recording of your screen.

The desktop app never holds the AI keys. Your request goes to our servers, which call the AI provider you chose for that interview type.
Answered by the AI you picked
OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI gets the prompt we build — your message, any resume or notes you attached, and any snip you sent — then returns the answer to your overlay.
Screen share
Excluded from the shared stream
The overlay is marked as protected content at the OS level, so screen-capture and screen-share APIs skip it. You see captions and answers on your display. The shared frame does not contain them.

What this page is not
There is no SOC 2 badge here, because we have not completed that audit. The mechanism is the whole claim: screen-share APIs skip a protected window. Dedicated proctoring, a second camera, or someone looking at your display is outside that mechanism.

What we keep, and for how long
Turns, not a recording
Audio is processed for live transcription rather than stored as a recording. Screenshots exist only when you capture them. See the privacy policy for retention.
Account and billing
Sign-in, plan, and usage live on our servers. Card payments go through Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
